Palms on petals

An ongoing series that I began capturing in 2014 after moving to Los Angeles and falling in love with the ornamental bougainvillea vines. I first shared the series on Instagram using the hashtag #palmsonpetals, which has since been populated by other foliage-loving participants. I hope to continue this series throughout my life, documenting how my hand changes as a marker of the passage of time.
